Double M Schuster Barn - Rochester, NY Wedding Photographer // Stephanie & Don

Stephanie & Don

I can’t believe I waited this long to write this blog post! I have known Stephanie since high school and because of that- I have also known about Don for the same length of time because they are HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEARTS. The best type of sweethearts if you ask me. I wish Don went to our high school so they could of won the “Most Likely to Get Married” category in the yearbook. Seriously, they deserve it.

Their ceremony and reception was located at the Double M Schuster Barn in Dansville, NY and it did not disappoint! The lighting was absolutely phenomenal during their ceremony. Stephanie and Don opted for a first look and I’m so happy they did. One of the best reasons to do a first look option is timing. Stephanie and her girls were running a bit behind due to no one’s fault in particular but because we had such a good buffer before the ceremony, it didn’t matter! We were able to do the first look, wedding party photos and some couple portraits before the ceremony. After the ceremony we opted for some more wedding and couple portraits. Not only were the girls a little late, but we still managed to get portraits before the ceremony AND after. Double!!

I loved the details they put into this wedding. It was a rustic vibe but with pops of bright color. Definitely unique. To sum it all up, I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard, AND cried so hard at a wedding. It was seriously emotional. To top it all off, my fiance Adam (who also went to High School with us) was their wedding videographer. His video is posted below. Make sure you grab the tissues for that one!
