YOU GUYS! I don't think I've ever been this excited to post a blog! I've known Alisha's family for over 10 years- isn't that crazy? 10 years ago I did NOT expect to be photographing her wedding but I'm so happy I did. Every detail was absolutely perfect, and every vendor worked so hard to make their day special.

Alisha and Josh were married at the Cobblestone Wedding Barn in Scottsville, NY. It was my first time photographing at this venue and it did not disappoint. They have this adorable cobblestone house located in front of the barn for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready in. It just so happened all of Alisha's colors went perfectly with the barn, to the light blue shutters on the house, to the light blue trim on the barn, the rustic brown barn in the back, to the red and pops of blue in their flowers.

I love wedding traditions, but I love it so much more when couples incorporate their own personalities into their wedding- instead of following the "normal". For them, that meant no cake cutting, and no garter toss or bouquet toss. It was all about spending as much time with their friends and family- oh yeah, and dancing!
